WANNA GO TO PROM WITH US?
We're calling upon all dreamers and lovers, playful spirits and creative beings to join us for an epic midsummer solstice party that will celebrate the power of community, creative expression and the importance of giving back. Pom Prom is a party with a cause. It's a benefit, silent auction, cocktail party, and solstice rave wrapped into a single night of awesomeness. Hosted at the beautiful Jacobsen Salt Co. in SE Portland, we are curating a magical evening that will feature a lineup of entertainment, surprise acts as well as bites, beats and beer/bubbles/booze. This will be our single biggest event this year and we plan to make it unforgettable. Pom Prom is a 21+ INCLUSIVE event open to all genders. We can't wait to Pom Prom with you.
A CALL TO ACTION
We invite Portland's creative community to channel your inner KING or KWEEN and come dressed in your finest, most creative midsummer "prom" gear and we will crown the night's most inventive costumes and have some fun along the way. This is also a call to action. Now more than ever before, it's important that we pool our collective energies and DO SOMETHING GOOD. We are proudly working with Portland's local chapter of Planned Parenthood to donate 100% of our proceeds. Our silent auction will feature a curated selection of Portland based and international artists as well as coveted items from design, home/interior, children's, womenswear boutiques in addition to wellness, entertainment, travel and hospitality gems. The collective total of our ticket sales and silent auction bids will raise critical funding toward Planned Parenthood's Columbia/Willamette chapter.
Our headlining acts will be announced in the weeks to come, stay tuned and make sure you follow our IG account Pom_Prom to keep in the know with our latest updates. We will be keeping part of our lineup secret to offer some surprises on Prom night but rest assured we are curating a badass roster of music + entertainment artists to dazzle our night.
Pom Prom is made possible by the generous support from Jacobsen Salt Co. and Fieldwork Flowers and by the hardworking volunteers from the Pom Pom Social and Planned Parenthood communities and beyond.
We thank in advance our restaurant + food partners from Tusk, Han Oak, Renata, Umi Organic, Olympia Provisions and Ruby Jewel as well as Whole Foods, New Seasons and Grand Central Bakery. A huge shout out also goes out to our drink sponsors, Union Wine, New Deal Distillery, Casa Bruno and Widmer Brothers Brewing.
Our silent auction will be featuring items from an amazing roster of local and international artists and vendors and wouldn’t be possible without the donations from our friends at Ace & Jig, Ace Hotel, ADX, Alexandria Cummins, Anna Joyce, Annalise Rice, Annie O'Dorisio.
