Join us for our next meet up that is dedicated to all the working moms (or working moms to be).  Whether you have entered back into the workforce after a mere 6 or 12 weeks (or less - a staggering 25% of American women go back at the 2 week mark) or whether you've taken a longer break to stay home with your child, the transition of becoming a WORKING MOM is huge. What was your own "birth" into working motherhood like? What kind of support do you think is essential?   What insights do you have to share to moms looking to go back?

Get ready for rich discussion around different perspectives on work/mom balance, career reentry.  We will be joined by special guest Katherine Goldstein who is a momma, journalist, 2017 Nieman Fellow and creator of a future podcast for, and by, millenial working mothers.  Katherine recently wrote a New York Times piece about the anti-mom bias that exists in the workplace.

We will also feature different mama voices from the corporate, creative and small business world, including Kaity Velez, co-founder of Well Rounded, Asmeret Berhe-Lumax, head of production at Saturdays NYC as well as Jeanine Pesce, founder and editorial director of RANGE

We also want to hear YOUR STORY. come ready to share on how you may have pivoted, changed or frankly halted your career through motherhood.  The aim of this discussion is to identify where we can better support the working mom, what resources we have found most helpful in our different re-entry plans and opportunities for change within the current workplace culture.
