"The political system works to keep women and people of color, particularly mothers of color, from being full participants, and it’s important to talk about how we can rally together to fight back." - Lili Hoag, Political Director at Family Forward Oregon and the Mother PAC
Gun violence, abortion rights, racial injustice, DACA, equal pay, civil rights, affordable education, universal healthcare....the list goes on and on. With so much shit to protest, it's easy to feel buried and hopeless on where to even start, and how to make impact amidst the chaos.
This month's meet up focuses on how to channel our anger into action. Join us for a FIRED UP evening on Wednesday, March 7th as we get an 'Activism 101' schooling from an esteemed group of political activists and community leaders on how to rise above the noise and use our voice.

Activism 101 - And How to Really Make a Difference
These badass broads will give us pointers on how to engage and make an actual difference in our "shit hole" country during this very dire of times. They will give us how-to tips and action orientated advice on where to direct our efforts and provide resources and suggestions on where to clock some volunteer hours, who to call, text, email and snail mail when we want tour names added to those petitions that matter.
