ELISA J. DOZONO - Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP - Elisa will talk to us about how to affect positive change, all the way from everyday life to govt affairs. Aside from being a badass litigator and government affairs partner, Elisa has played a huge part in affecting positive change for women/minorities in Oregon including gap-financing for women and minority owned business as well as co-founding an association that recruits and trains women to run for office. Elisa was recognized as one of the top 25 women "Oregon Super Lawyers" by Law & Politics and was also named Woman of Influence Orchid Award winner by the Portland Business Journal in 2012 and received the Oregon Area Jewish Committee's Emerging Leadership Award in 2010.
HEATHER HANRAHAN - Wieden + Kennedy - Mother of two and senior art producer Heather will address how historically women have always made art as a form of protest and resistance and how important it is at this moment in time to creatively use our voices to push the feminist, humanitarian and environmental agenda further. Prior to W+K Heather spent her time curating art buying and producing. She earned her MA degree in Women's and Gender Studies from the University of British Columbia with an emphasis on feminist visual narratives of trauma.
KATIE O'BRIEN – Rose Haven Women’s + Children Shelter - pom pom social believes in giving back and in using creativity (and the power of our community) to affect local change. we are thrilled to announce that we will be collaborating with Portland based Rose Haven Women’s + Children shelter. Katie will join us for this special evening and talk more about opportunities on how we can get involved in connecting deeper with this community and how we can volunteer our time and creative talents.
